My 10 year old, 7 year old, and I LOVED it! Great show!

LOVED IT
We went to the evening show last night. I took
my 4 year old and 7 year old. This rendition of
Annie was PHENOMENAL. Annie’s voice was on
point. If I closed my eyes it was like I was
watching the movie. Daddy Warbucks stoke my
heart, he was AMAZING. My kids actually sat
still and sang alone with the songs. I love that
this was a local production and would highly
recommend it. Very friendly staff also. Kudos
to the cast and crew for putting on such a
fabulous show.

MATINEE ANNIE LILLIAN HOCHMAN.
This little girl’s voice packs a punch! I highly
recommend the local talent of this powerful
vocalist. Our Orchestra Left seats were perfect.
The orchestra overpowered the voices a few
times, but I saw the very first matinee show
and I’m sure there are still some tweaks being
worked out. The dog is a little naughty (barked
a few times) but Lillian handles the dog
behavior like a pro. The cast is really talented
overall, but Lillian’s performance is emotional
and sweet and while her talent exceeds her
youth, as a youngster performer her acting as
Annie really endearing. Not to be missed!

GREAT SHOW
I took my 6 year old to the Wednesday night showing and it was a great performance! Annie was spot on. Many powerful voices!
We have noticed with the last several shows at the Orpheum that the sound crews have been off their game. We spent a lot of time wondering if it's the facility that needs upgrading, or if it's road crews that have a hard time adjusting to our theater acoustics.

ANNIE
My family saw the Sunday night show 11/27. The production was spot on. The props ans setting were beautiful and costumes were amazing. Warbucks, Hannigan, and Grace were top notch. Loved Lily and Rooster. The little girl that played Annie was phenomenal. Highly recommend!

ANNIE
We took our nine year old granddaughter and her friend to the New Years Eve matinee in San Diego. The were amazed and applauded mightily for every number. They had a fabulous opportunity to meet “Annie” before the show!
That in itself was a treat! She was as sweet off stage as she carried the part sweetly on stage. Superb cast!

Fantastic performance! We've seen several productions of "Annie", and all were great, but this one was exceptional. Kudos to the wonderfully talented cast! Was wowed by your performance!

AMAZING
Saw this show as someone who is in theater and loves Broadway and it was fantastic

PHENOMENAL SHOW!
My family of 8 (from 5-60 years old) absolutely loved every bit of this show. Thank you all for an amazing performance!

ANIOE
Beautiful and super talented cast❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

VERY ENJOYABLE
It's tough to pull off a musical that we all grew up singing, and even tougher to do it when it was a very well done movie, but this rendition succeeds.
Good performances throughout, with exceptionally strong performances by the actresses playing Grace and Miss Hannigan. Beautiful sets came and
went in a 95% smooth opening night. I can't imagine a better thing to take your kids to, or a better way to introduce them to musicals in general.

QUITE ENJOYABLE
Wonderful performances by the cast, the set design was lovely, and overall the show was engaging, in spite of the predictability inherent in a show of this nature. I recommend it!

REVIEW FOR SENIORS
I am 78 years old and saw ANNIE at the Fisher for the first time. The cast was first rate and the music was timeless. Because the story takes place in the thirties the younger audience did not appreciate the historical humor and some of the jokes fell on deaf ears. I on the other hand loved the humor. We sat in the balcony and the voices were so loud I couldn't understand all of the lyrics especially when the children were singing. I don't know if it was because we were in the balcony or not. Very enjoyable afternoon. I wondered why there was a ventriloquist on the radio. That struck my funny bone (old humor) and I laughed about it later. The loud voices was the reason for the 4 instead of 5.

NEEDS TO BE POLISHED UP
Direction was incredibly fast. Lots of interruptions at critical points because people were being seated late. The Dolby Theater was freezing.
I just kind of expected a little more.
