John McLaughlin and Jimmy Herring share the stage on a brand new tour. Kicking off in November 2017, The Meeting Of The Spirits Tour will feature each virtuoso playing a separate set with their own bands, before combining their talents for a transcendent closing jam, exploring the sound of John's Mahavishnu Orchestra, covering some of their classic 1970's records including Inner Mounting Flames and Visions of the Emerald Beyond.

Named by Jeff Beck and Pat Metheny as one of the greatest guitarists in the world, McLauglin has been dazzling audiences with his pioneering fusion style since the 1960s. This tour, which he believes may include his last US performances, gives him the chance to revisit the Mahavishnu days, alongside fellow devotee and Widespread Panic member Herring.
