Finally got to see the XX last night after years of waiting. They did not disappoint! Amazing sound, great set list, and simple but beautiful production. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because of the venue itself. The Palace is a cool "new" venue on the surface, but I would never buy a general admission ticket there again. People were crammed in everywhere trying to get in. I have never seen it so bad at a show, and had to have been a fire code violation. It was a major distraction from the band, which again, was awesome. Palace, please do not oversell GA!
